Coaching has made great progress in the past 30 years. It’s influenced society’s collective narrative and behaviors in many ways, both in personal lives and businesses. The late Thomas Leonard, founder of Coach U, the ICF and professional coaching itself, used to speak often about how different the world could be once coaching hit critical mass. Coach U has held that vision with its vision statement that Coaching is the Culture of Humanity. We were fortunate to grab a few minutes with Joel DiGirolamo, Vice President of Research and Data Science with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) to help us understand where coaching is headed and how close we are to achieving our vision.
