The path to mastery in coaching is a balanced act between polishing our skills and deepening our own self-awareness. Everyday, our challenge is to find the equilibrium between form and flow. Bottom line, coaching is a human-to-human experience and it is when we embrace this ongoing exercise of BECOMING that we can find our authentic place in the coaching process.
Newer coaches often struggle with asking for payment, usually because they don’t feel skilled enough to charge for their services. They question the value their coaching provides and therefore offer more pro bono coaching. They continue to wrestle with the fact they don’t need to know about the subject matter in order to provide value, and in our society, we often equate value gained with how much we’ve paid for it. In this episode, we explore the significance of valuing ourselves as coaches and how that translates into establishing our fees structures.
